Delta 4-1 Wembeldines
In the battle of the unbeaten, it was Delta
who kept their perfect record going in this top of the table clash. Delta star
John O’Sullivan scored a brace with Colm Heffernan and Sean Prendiville also on
the scoresheet. Danny Galvin maintained his good form scoring Dines’ solitary
goal of the game.
Analog 0-0 Boca Seniors
Two sides known for tight games played out
the tightest of tight games as nothing could separate Analog and Boca. The
teams battled in a fiery clash that resulted in zero goals between first
whistle and last. The result sees Analog
remain within striking distance of league leaders Delta while Boca stay in
sixth.
Cutters 1-1 Bluestreak FC
Bluestreak were agonizingly close to
recording their first win of the campaign but a late Tom Power goal seconds
before the end saw Cutters rescue a point. Bluestreak went ahead as Dara
Shanahan added yet another goal to his tally. Cutters stay 4th and
despite getting on the board with their first point - against very good
opposition no less – Bluestreak may feel unfortunate not to be coming away with
all three points.
Lakers 5-0 Delta Rejects
A one sided affair saw Lakers put 5 past
Delta Rejects. Colm Hanley was the hat trick hero while Gerry O’Brien also scored
two.
