Friday Night Lights clawed back from 2 goals down to record a 5-2 win in their game vs Cutters. Cutters took the lead with two early first half goals. Friday Night Lights clicked into gear and managed to restore parity. Friday Night Lights took their chances in the second half and managed to deny Cutters a way back into the game. Boca kept prodding in the second half trying to find a way through the Lightening defence. A well whipped inswinging free kick in the 40th minute looked troublesome for Lightning but the keeper got two firm hands behind the ball and the defence cleared up. The deadlock was broken in the 50th with a Boca penalty. The penalty rattled off the cross bar and was adjudged to have crossed the line. Video below for those that want to decide for themselves. Lightning pushed for an equaliser and left themselves exposed at the back. A long ball through the middle caught Lightning out and the Boca forward was able to lift the ball over the helpless Lightning keeper.
